Went out offroading with my Father today in the Fraser Valley. Good weather and nice roads/paths. Went through some very steep gullies! The area was very pretty and made for some good photos. 3000kms on the JLUR now.

It’s always strange to me when people talk about the Fraser valley. Cause I live like 25km from the Fraser River, which is in a valley, except it’s like an eight hour drive to the place people refer to as “the Fraser Valley”.

I’ve driven it twice now, one just through a gully today and once when he bought it.

I like it, but I think I'd personally go two door with a manual. His has the 8speed.

Most of this was actually a Forest Service Road, but we left that a few times for more intense offroad. The FSR could probably be done in my CX-3 if I really had to, but it would take hours . My dad has an offroad book for BC.

This was the forest service road to Skwellepil Creek rec site. In Harrison

Nice! The issue for me is I already have 4 cars. My wife says I can have one, but I’d have to get rid of the Kia (where do I sign up?) and the Fiesta ST (not so keen on that).

Insurance is our biggest cost, I spent $7KCDN on it last year. We can’t afford a more expensive vehicle and insurance on all 4.
